Our crew dry-lays every sheet first, hand-pulls individual tiles to break the pattern at the seams, and uses white thinset under glass mosaics so the color underneath doesn't shift the look.
Glass mosaics get cut with a wet saw and diamond blade, never snapped, and we finish with non-sanded grout so the glass faces don't scratch.
